Travel directions to kilmory workshopClick on the map to see where we are From Brodick take the coast road south passing through the villages of Lamlash, Whiting Bay and on to Kilmory (approx 45min). Just past the Torrylinn Creamery there is a sign to Kilmory Workshop and Kilmory Church, turn right here to the church. Follow the next sign down the farm road (with passing places), over the bridge and up the hill to the top where there is a car park. The entrance to the showroom is at the rear of the building. Arran nestled in the Clyde is one of the most accessible Scottish Islands and only 2hrs away from Glasgow. Caledonian MacBrayne frequently operates 2 ferry routes to the Island. The main ferry link from Ardrossan to Brodick (all year) on the east coast of the Island takes 1hr, it is advisable to book in advance. The summer service from Claonaig(Argyll) to Lochranza on the north coast of the island takes 30min, no booking required, in the winter a reduced service (booking essential) is run to Tarbert(Argyll) taking 1.5hrs. See Calmac on the links page. Glasgow Prestwick Airport is only a few miles south of Ardrossan where there is a rail link to Ardrossan changing at Kilwinning. Glasgow International Airport is about 1hr from Ardrossan by car and rail . Take the bus link or a taxi from the airport to the rail station at Paisley Gilmour Street Station where there is a direct train for Ardrossan, at the ferry terminal. By rail, there is a direct service from Glasgow Central linking to the ferry terminal at Ardrossan approx.1hr. On the island buses are operated by Stagecoach. | ||
